Rab Music Nights

Classical music concerts on the Island of Rab have been organized since 1985 and take place every Thursday during summer months.

Classical music concerts on the Island of Rab appeared in 1985. They take place in summer months, exclusively on Thursdays. Every year the repertory includes 12 or more excellent classical music concerts. Over the centuries, the repertory has been extended to include several hundreds of solo performers, ensembles, symphony orchestras, quarters, etc., with many of them being world famous. The program of the Rab music nights aims to provide young artists at the start of their career the opportunity to perform together with famous artists who have received awards and recognitions for their artistic achievements. Its first artistic director was Rahilka Burzevska. Since 2016, Rab Music Nights have been under the art direction of Mrs. Ljerka Očić, PHD in Art, a prominent Croatian musician, a tenured professor at the Academy of Music in Zagreb and Vice-Dean for international and interinstitutional cooperation.
