Lopar MTB 1

The start of this MTB route which is 26 km long is in Lopar. It is followed by a brief ride through orchards and fields and descent onto the Frux Plateau. At the Frux Plateau, you will be able to start a fast ride across forest roads, spacious fields with sheep and attractive canyons formed by wind and soil erosion. You will descend from the Plateau and return to Lopar cycling on the well-known Premužić's trail, with a spectacular view of Velebit Canal, which is one of the main attractions on the route. What follows is the ride to the most popular beach on the island, the Paradise Beach (Cro. Rajska plaža), with a physically and technically demanding slope to climb, but the view of the neighbouring island from the viewpoint is worth it. You can return to Lopar riding through sandy parts of the island, some forests and an easy section of the route.
