Municipal parks

At the foot of the Monastery and the Church of St. Anthony is the Dorka Municipal Park with a monumental sculpture of St. Marin, the work of the self-taught sculpture Daniele Volpini from San Marino. The bronze statue, a donation from the Town of San Marino (May 8th, 2004), is located in the central part of the park, the visitors' favourite rest stop. The sculpture of St. Marin should have been transported symbolically to the Island of Rab by sea, but due to technical difficulties it could not be realised. In the summer, the park becomes the stage hosting open-air concerts of various musical genres.

The park contains barely recognisable remains of several small medieval chapels. The remains of the Romanesque Chapel of St. Mary of Mercy (Sv. Marija od Milosrđa) are found on the right at the end on the pathway ascending towards the church and the monastery of St. Anthony the Abbot (Sv. Antun Opat). Though desacralised, the Church of St. Catherine (Sv. Katarina) dating back to the Early Romanesque period has been preserved and was reconstructed in 2016. Today it hosts art exhibitions.
