Boat line Barbat - Banjol - Rab

The ferry service connects the villages of Barbat and Banjol to the port of Rab, offering a great alternative to going to the town by car during the summer traffic jams and wasting time looking for a parking space. It has been a regular local ferry line and it proved to be a great option for the visitors of the said villages who are happy to use it.

Seven daily return routes have been provided. The initial port the ferry arrives at is Kaštel in the village of Barbat, docking at two more ports in Barbat and one in Banjol, with the final destination being the port of Rab. The first ferry departs at 8 o'clock in the morning from Barbat, and the last ferry from Rab leaves at midnight.

The ferry sailing on this route is a 29-feet long one named Franko, with the registered freight capacity of 12 passengers. The journey lasts 35 minutes.

You can buy a one-way ticket for 20 kunas, which is very affordable (2021).
