Boat line Rab - Frkanj

The ferry service connects the port of Rab with the Frkanj Peninsula, which is a very popular picnic and swimming spot on the Island of Rab, with the accompanying catering facilities. Frkanj is popularly called the Island of Love (Cro. Otok ljubavi). The ferry service operates from May to October. It includes the three traditional wooden 9-meters long boats which are almost 50 years old. The journey lasts 15 minutes and provides an unforgettable experience. It offers a panoramic view of the town of Rab, its walls and its amazing church towers.

On the Frkanj Peninsula there is a restaurant bearing the same name. It is surrounded by centuries-old pine trees and serves the Mediterranean dishes and local cakes and pastry.
