Laganj

The islets of Laganj Veli and Laganj Mali are located 5 nm away from the Port of Rab and are the Rab boaters’ favourite swimming spot, occupying a part of the Archipelago of Rab with their powerboats. Swimming in the turquoise-coloured open sea, between the two islets, is a special experience. The seabed is full of sea urchins that live only in the crystal-clear sea.

Oftentimes, the sea current flowing between the islets, provides a memorable experience to our guests. There are numerous rabbits living on the Island of Veli Laganj, as well as sheep that, looking for shade, hide under sycamore trees, the only sort of large tree on the islet. On the northern side of the islet, there is a small beach with white pebbles.
