LOPAR – A SAND PARADISE FOR BATHERS

The indented shore of the Island of Lopar is a true paradise for sandy beach lovers. There are as many as 22 sandy beaches on the island.

A low shoreline with over 10 km of shore suitable for swimming is a perfect destination for the visitors of all ages and most of it is suitable for small children, particularly the Paradise Beach (Cro. Rajska plaža) - the most popular and the largest beach in Croatia (classified by the CNN among the top ten beaches in the world).

SHALLOW SANDY BEACHES – THEY WARM UP FAST AND ARE SAFE FOR THE YOUNGEST BATHERS

Due to their shallow sandy bottom, the beaches on the Island of Lopar get warm pretty soon and the swimming season can begin much earlier than at other destinations. The first bathers arrive as early as May and the bathing season can last until October. The bathers’ safety, particularly the safety of children who can freely enjoy swimming in the shallow and warm sea, is a big advantage.

YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN LARGE AND CROWDED BEACHES WITH FULLY-EQUIPPED CATERING FACILITIES OR THE ISOLATED AND SECLUDED ONES

Some of the beaches on the Island of Lopar are large any can accommodate a large number of bathers. Except on the popular and crowded beaches, you will see miles of golden sand at the secluded, isolated and naturist beaches (such as the FK beach) and dog-friendly beaches. Tourist visit the remote beaches, located away from the settlements, by small boats or on foot. Depending on their wishes, they can reach the beaches by car, on foot, by bike, by boat or taxi boats leaving from the small port.
