Vela Gospa is also a national holiday celebrated on August 15 every year. Already traditionally, on that day in the City of Rab, Trg sv. Kristofora, in the popular "Varoš", is holding a knight's tournament of the Rab Crossbowmen's Association starting at 9:00 p.m., and half an hour earlier members of the Rap Dance Folklore Society will perform their program.
